This guy was fun to draw from the beginning; he has very defined proportions and features, and a very genuine smile, you can tell he is happy.  I found my self drawing without having to draw a base for the face, and guidelines for the nose and such, however I’m not sure if it is because of me getting better, or just because his face is easy to draw… I guess we will see the next.

Good night Internet.

Found some waterproof ink from when I was in high school, I don’t even remember what we would use it for, it’s been a few moons since then.

This guy had a really cool expression, if I had gotten the eyebrows right, the expression likeness would be a lot better.

I feel like I should be writing more about it, but , the process is more of a muscle memory to me rather than a studied series of  movements, mathematically calculated, so it is kind of strange for me to say this line feels more rounded and that part is more angular, should I draw this shadow here? should I outline the nose? etc, etc, those are all questions that I’m constantly asking my self. It is more of a conversation than a formula; and the conversation is getting better every day.

It takes 21 days to form a habit, according to some;

let’s give it a few days take or so,

for the days I missed, might make it slow,

It matters not; I will get there I know.

Sorry about the rimes, HIMYM is on,

and the full episode is riming,

I felt like i should be giving it some trying.

Anyways, here is my drawing for today, it took me a while, you could probably say I might have been a little distracted. 🙂 The lines are getting a little better. Clkwl

The warm up drawing is helping as well.

What do you think?
