I am an envious person right now, why? because my subject today has perfect lips; you know, the Jessica Rabbit kind of lips, full and perfectly formed cupids arc. But envy aside, that kind of  lips are really fun to draw, I think my sketch could use some color, at least a subtle hint of blush, so that her juvenile features are not hindered by the color.

Anyways, here is today’s subject. 

Not too shabby, if I do say so myself.

 

Today my subject is a mom of three, but you wouldn’t guess that from her profile picture. This drawing again is a little too harsh compared to her curvy lines, and I think I made the eyes a little too big. Also, what’s up with weird perspective portraits?! they don’t make my job easier at all. I guess they are flattering?

At least for this drawing, I have too much space between her eyes and the rest of her features, this perspective is throwing me off.

OK, now that I’ve fixed the glitch, here are yesterday’s and today’s drawings.

Yesterday’s, well, there are some people that are either really in love with their pets, or don’t care to have their faces plastered all over their posts. either way, this is the only picture they have posted as their profile so, I had to draw a dog. funny one, with a funny perspective as well, so, here you go:

And here is today’s… still a funny perspective but with a better known subject. 

As it turns out the class I was so looking forward to start tomorrow got adjourned, so, another week it is.  By the time it gets here i’ll be an expert (modesty aside of course).
