I got a chance to make it digital this weekend.
I think the bigger pieces look better. I was having trouble with the pawn’s perspective, so I cheated and arranged it in a different way.
Not bad for one of the first tries.
Have you ever stopped doing something for whatever reason, and when you started doing it again realized how much you missed it?
It is almost like you had forgotten how something let’s call it mundane, brings joy to your life. In my case it brings joy, disappointment, anger, makes me proud, makes me humble, makes me realize how hard I still need to work on somethings and it inspires me to persevere.
I know, it sounds crazy right? but it is in enjoying the little things that you find happiness, even when those little things make you realize something needs improvement.
Here is a little sketch that I hope to finish in a digital format. i’ll probably make the pieces bigger and the body a little smaller.
I’m currently working on my plan for this blog, where i’ll take it and all the subjects i’ll cover on it, and how, etc.
In the mean time, here is a little pen drawing I did while on a break.
There is something romantic about the rain (the notebook anyone?). I guess i got inspired by the sudden change of weather here, it went from sunny to London-ish foggy in a matter of 15 minutes or less, and now is sunny again, a weather rollercoaster for the end of the year.
Happy Friday!
