The Request
A sugar skull that was interesting and inviting, that could represent the festival, This Illustration was to go on bilboards and posters as well as all the flyers and social media used for advertizing the festival.

The Concept
Sugar skulls that are typical on this festival celebrated all over Latin America, is a very intricate and colorful design, you get an overload of all your senses, so I wanted to keep the colors and intricacy on the design, but had to simplify it for readability and design purposes. Decided to add the textures on the background of the illustration.
